Where To Get a Fishing License

Unless you are shore fishing in the state of Texas, you will need a fishing license! Luckily, these licenses are easy to obtain. You can purchase your fishing license online, or you can buy one in-person at most bait and tackle shops. Be sure to do your research beforehand and know what type of fishing you’ll be doing, because there are different types of fishing licenses you can purchase. We recommend going with an all-water license because they allow you to fish in freshwater and saltwater for almost the same price as just a freshwater or saltwater license.
